Dr. Samuel Saukkonen

Dr. Samuel Saukkonen was born in 1969, in Belgium of Finnish parents. After completing his formal schooling in Finland he spent his senior year at high school perfecting his English in the United States. He went on to study Chiropractic in Great Britain at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic, which is affiliated with the University of Portsmouth. In 1995 he graduated with a B.Sc. in Chiropractic, equivalent to Doctor of Chiropractic.

After graduating, Dr. Saukkonen and his partner, also a chiropractor, moved to Italy, first to Rome and later in 1997 to Grosseto where they opened their clinic, “The International Chiropractic Clinic”. Dr. Pamela Leader and Dr. Saukkonen soon earned the trust of local medical doctors and specialists making their Italian clinic a point of reference in terms of professional chiropractors of world class. In Italy, Dr. Saukkonen treated an immense variety of patients with many different problems, including both sports and political personalities from Italy and the rest of Europe, the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Hong Kong etc.

Looking for a new challenge, Dr. Saukkonen moved to Dubai and spent his first two years here, practicing in various clinics in Dubai. Patients from all around the Gulf, both foreign and local, quickly passed the news of his wide-ranging techniques and congenial disposition around their friends and relatives. The previous clinic premises Dr. Samuel worked became too small for expansion; so much so, that in June 2008 he was motivated to open his own centre, the Emirates European Medical Centre, in Jumeirah area of Dubai. The clinic is purpose build for Chiropractic and physiotherapy and is located in villa 119, Al Thanya Road, Umm Suqeim 2, just near the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
Our staff is happy and ready to welcome you. We are happy to assist with any problems related to spine, joints, or muscles, and beyond.

Dr. Saukkonen is fluent in English, Italian and Finnish.
