Dr. Pamela Leader

Dr. Pamela Leader has more than 14 year career as a chiropractor. Most of her succesful career she has been managing a large clinic in Tuscany, Italy, in partnership with Dr. Samuel Saukkonen. She has a wealth of experience treating spine and joint related problems and has treated patients of all ages, from newborns with colic, to patients of 95 years of age. She also treats many painful spinal problems related to pregnancy, sports injuries, as well as the more common problems of headache, neck pain, low back pain and disc related problems.

Many years ago, while still teaching biology, Dr. Pamela had chronic back pain and decided herself, to get some help from a chiropractor in England. After excellent results from the treatment, Dr. Pamela felt she should to try and help others to know and benefit from the gentle manipulations which had helped her. In 1995 she graduated with a B.Sc. in Chiropractic at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic, which is affiliated with the University of Portsmouth, and became a Doctor of Chiropractic.

After graduating, Dr. Pamela moved to Italy, first to Rome and later in 1997 to Grosseto where she and her partner Dr. Saukkonen, opened their Tuscan chiropractic clinic. Very soon, they both earned the trust of local medical doctors and specialists, and with patients, often traveling many miles to be treated by them. In 2007, they sold their successful clinic, and Dr. Pamela has now joined her partner to work in Dubai. Right now Dr. Pamela is one of the very few female chiropractors in the Emirates. Although Dr. Pamela treats both men and women, the clinic can now offer this important service for those who prefer a female doctor, or who may not be able to go to a male doctor.

Dr. Pamela Leader makes an accurate diagnosis of your problem, followed by the most efficient treatment available to help your body to heal in the minimum time possible. With her varied techniques, and modalities, she will give you all the help you need to reach a better state of health, and decrease any painful symptoms in no time. After helping you to arrive at better health, Dr. Pamela will help you to maintain your results, with carefully planned maintenance therapy, a correct excercise program, and with other lifestyle advice you may need to stay well.

This is just a beginning here for us as we are planning to open a number of dedicated clinics around the Gulf area, which embody our philosophy of health and chiropractic in particular, with standards of treatment and excellence beyond most expectations.

Dr. Pamela is currently secretary on the main board developing the Emirates Chiropractic Association for the whole U.A.E. One of our first goals is to set up a web site.
